Take your Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich to the Next Level!

Want to take your peanut butter and jelly sandwich to the next level? Follow the instructions below to make a Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast! It will taste like a party in your mouth trust me!My kids can’t get enough of it and i have to admit…same thing for me :)

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf challah bread, sliced into 6 slices
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons jam (use your favorite)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Butter and maple syrup, for serving

Directions:

Crack your 2 eggs in a big bowl. Add your milk, vanilla extract, salt and whisk them all together!

Cut your bread in 1 inch pieces and using a sharp paring knife, make a little slit to create a “pocket.

Insert the peanut butter and the jelly inside your bread! It’s already starting to look yummy, right?

Dip each side of your stuffed bread in the egg and milk mixture and then place it in a hot buttered skillet until golden on each side!

Voila! Your amazingly delicious PB&J French toast is ready!
