What is a Coupon Train and How to Start One?

I have noticed that many of you ask about the meaning of a coupon train. Therefore, I am posting this to explain what it is about and to encourage you to start coupon trains in your respective regions!
Basically, a coupon train is an envelope of coupons that travels from one stop to another. At each stop, a “rider” (people taking part in the train) gets some coupons from the envelope and replaces them with other coupons of the same value or more. He/she needs to send the envelope to the next person on the coupon list. When the last person on the list gets the coupons she wants, she mails back the envelope to the first person who started the train.
Generally, a train takes 6 to 10 people. The list of people participating on the train is mailed with the coupons inside the envelope.
Since many people would like to start a coupon train, I encourage you to post a comment here specifying the region where you live, the types of coupons you are interested to receive (baby, food, etc) and if you are interested to be the train conductor (be the 1st person to send the envelope with coupons inside). In 2 to 3 weeks, we will create groups of 6 to 10 people for each train! How does it sound?
