Cupcakes are always a tasty treat to present to your friends and family but ice cream cone cupcakes are more than tasty and are definitely worth preparing. They are not only delicious but also impressively stylish, the thing that makes me want to prepare them every time I am inviting friends or family members over. What you will need to make these awesome ice cream cone cupcakes is the following:
- 150g Self Raising Flour
- 150g Caster Sugar
- 150g Unsalted Butter, Softened or Marg
- three eggs
For the the topping you will need:
- 500g Icing Sugar
- 250g Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of Milk
For the decoration part you will need:
- 12 Ice Cream Cone Cups
- A box of Cadbury’s Ice Cream Flakes
- Dr. Oetker’s Soft Shimmer Pearls
Now, the how-to-do it part:
First of all, preheat your oven to 150 degrees and then place your cone cups in a deep cupcake tin.
After you’re done, cream the butter and caster sugar using a hand mixer. Take the eggs and whisk them well before adding them to the mixture (use some flour to prevent your mixture from curdling) Then add the remaining flour. The next step is to spoon your mixture to fit 2/3 of the cupcake cones.
Then place your cupcake cones to the oven until golden (25 approximately) Let your cupcakes cool for some time and then place in a wire rack.
Now that your cupcakes are all ready you need to start the topping part! Cream the butter and icing sugar then add 2 tps of vanilla extract and 1 tbs of milk and keep mixing until it’s consistent and ready for piping.
Your next task now is to start filling your cupcakes with butter cream. Start from the middle and pipe your butter cream in a circular way around the edge of the cone case. Keep up the work until you have 3 or 4 layers.
Now to decorate your cupcakes, cut the ice cream flakes into the desired shape and insert them slowly into the butter cream, after that sprinkle your cupcakes and there you go! Your Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes are ready to be served!
