DIY : Home made Iced Tea

Summer is the season of fresh drinks! One of the best drinks you can have during this season is totally Iced Tea!

You don’t have to go to the market and buy one , you can make one your own!

You will need:

  • 2 Tea bags: you can use any tea you want, but here I used “Earl Grey” black tea.
  • 1 Lemon
  • Sugar
  • Spices: Cardamom( optional), I added 1; it is mainly for the good smell and aromatic flavor.
  • Boiler
  • Tea Pot
  • Jug
  • Measuring spoons
  • A large spoon
  • Mortar and Pestel
  • Sieve
  • Lemon Squeezer
  • 2 quart measuring jug

(This recipe is for 2 quarts.)

Fill the boiler with water. When boiled, pour the water into the tea pot, put in the tea bags and cover it.

Once the tea has cooled, pour it into the large measuring jug. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice right out of it.

Then, pour the lemon juice into the jug with the tea. Stir with the big spoon. Next, take out your measuring spoons and pour in 5-6 TBSP of sugar in, one at a time. After pouring in one TBSP, stir until it dissolves.

Once finished, get your mortar and pestel and crush up one cardamom seed making it powdry. Then pour it into the jug and mix.
