DIY: How to Make Rigatoni Pasta Pie
Tired of cooking the same dishes every day? Want to give your family a huge hit by cooking something different and delicious? If yes then the Rigatoni Pasta Pie is what you are asking for, especially if they love pasta, cheesy pasta :D This meal is different and fun and I am sure your family and friends will give you credits once placed on the table because apart from the taste (which is wonderful) the look is just awesome.
To make this Rigatoni pasta you will need the following:
- Crushed tomatoes and red peppers
- Olive oil, butter, salt
- Ground turkey or beef depending on which one you prefer
- Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese
- Rigatoni pasta
Cook the Rigatoni pasta until it is slightly done, toss it with one tbs olive oil then drain and set aside. Don’t over cook it, it needs to remain firm. Now in a pan get your ground beef browned up using 2 cloves of crushed garlic, some crushed peppers and salt. After this add the crushed tomatoes to the pan and mix with the ground beef; simmer for like 20 min until thickened. Take your pasta and toss it with the Parmesan cheese. After that butter your Spring-form pan and start packing the pasta standing each piece on an end. Now that you have all the pasta packed, start spreading the sauce on top of them (try to push the meat inside the holes) Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and place in oven until it’s all browned up and cheesy! Leave it to cool for around 15 minutes and there you go, your Rigatoni Pasta Pie is ready to be served. Enjoy!
